North Norfolk Photographic SocietyAt their meeting on January 20th, Joy Hancock - a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society and a very welcome and well known judge - adjudicated upon more than 50 photo prints in the North Norfolk Photographic Society's 'Best All Rounder' competition.
Entrants submitted 4 prints - one Landscape, one Portrait, one Nature and one of the member's own choice of subject. The photos were individually judged, the scores added to find - the Best All Rounder.
5 prints scored the maximum of 10 marks, 2 of them by the overall winner - Judy Knights; she also got a 9.5!
The standard of club photography continues ever upwards, as does the enthusiasm of the members. New members are always welcome - meetings are on alternate Wednesday evenings from Autumn to Spring at 7.30 in the Loades Hall (behind the Methodist Church in Holt) and the next on 3rd February is the digital photos version of the same competition; and on the 17th February, Peter Yeo will visit to give a talk entitled 'Here, There and Everywhere'.
Anyone interested may just turn up - or give Judy Knights a call on 01263 825418. There is also information on the Society's website, nonops.org. |
