Sheringham Trails

The Sheringham Trails project group have seen their hard work on their idea of a trail around Sheringham come to fruition with the printing of the Sheringham Trails Leaflet.

The inaugural walk which took place on Monday 7 May 2007 was opened by the Bolderos. The walk which is illustrated on a full colour leaflet can be collected from the SPCP shop, Sheringham TIC or down loaded from the experiencesheringham web site and contains lots of information on Sheringham and the surrounding area as well as a very easy to follow map.

The complete trail is 6 miles long and covers several types of habitat including our Special Site of Scientific Interest (SSSI), the coast and town and also the more rural area of Upper Sheringham.

As well as producing the leaflet the group also designed the way markers you will see enroute.

New Look for the Leas?

Sheringham PlusThe Environmental Focus group have invited a group of artists to come up with ideas for art work for the town.

The artwork could take pride of place on the Leas or some more organic pieces may even be attached to the sea wall!

The artists will be presenting story boards and illustrations of their proposals on

Monday 4 June @ 7.00pm

in the Community Centre. This meeting is open to anybody, so please come along and give your opinion on their ideas.

If you want it, we could make it happen.

Sheringham plusWork on Otterndorf Green is progressing well and should be finished by the May Bank Holiday.

Plans of the scheme are available in the SPCP shop.
