Leisurely Sunday Cycle Rides
For the fifth year the North Norfolk Cycle Group is organising a series of leisurely
cycle rides in the Norfolk countryside. As you will see, the rides are mostly in the
afternoons, starting at 2pm and returning at approximately 5pm, with a tea stop during the
ride. This can be at a café or we take a picnic. Times alter slightly for rides to visit
special days, such as the Open Days at Wolterton Park, or Thornage Hall. We are awaiting
definite information for the Cycle for Life at Thetford, in aid of a children's hospice.
The rides are between 12 and 20 miles long. Anyone, any age is welcome. We go at the pace
of the slowest, with someone at the back to make sure no one gets left behind. The County
Council have given us bright safety jackets. We use small lanes wherever possible. We have
a number of leaders to plan routes in different areas so the rides provide an enjoyable
and healthy way of exploring North Norfolk and beyond, in friendly company. New leaders
are welcome. We do not go out in bad weather or on bank holday weekends.
Sunday 13 May Join Cycle for Life at Thetford.
Sunday 20 May Start Roughton Village Hall, 1pm, to visit Wolterton Park Open Day, return
approx 5pm
Sunday 3 June Start Aylsham Bure Valley Railway car park, 2pm, return approx 5 pm
Contact Alicia Hull 01263 761471 for more information and to check whether the ride is on
if the weather is doubtful.

MASSAGE - HEALTH - FITNESS
My name is James Abbs and fully qualified as a Sports Therapist back in
June of 2006. I studied for 3 years, the first two years in a BTEC National Diploma in
Sport and Exercise Science, then a third year in a Diploma in Sports Therapy. I gained
qualifications in Sport and Swedish Massage, Non-Medical Nutritional Advice, Injury Rehab,
Postural Advice and Exercise Advice.
At the start of 2007 I started my own clinic for sports therapy, helping friends and
family who then told other people. Now I work with clients from sports players, to people
with aches and pains, or who want to improve their diets and need some advice, to someone
who just enjoys a general relaxing massage.
The Sports massage is used not just for sports people but also to help you recover from a
hard working life. Whereas the Swedish massage is very helpful if you just need to relax
or release the stress and tension from the aches and pains. If you're looking to improve
your diet from weight loss to general balance or help to gain maximum benefit from your
sport with no sudden or drastic changes then the nutritional advice would be of great
benefit. Are you one of these people who feel that your posture is not how you would like
it to be? Then the postural advice would be an assessment of your posture with some easy
to follow strengthening and stretching exercises.
Very competitive prices including a FREE consultation.
