THE MORLEY CLUB

We'd all like to turn back time, wouldn't we? Well, at The Morley this year we've done just that June 30th will now take place on September 1st. With our Bowling Green resembling the Boating Lake for more than a few days this Summer the Open Bowls Tournament due to have been played on 30th June has been rescheduled for Saturday 1st September. Entries to John on 01263 822379. This will be an all-day event followed by a Barbecue and an evening of live music from Just Jazz. So come along and watch some great traditional Bowls followed by some great Traditional Jazz. Tickets from Robin at the Club or call 01263 822087.

The Morley Bowls tournament, Sheringham Carnival, 2007

Our luck with the weather did change for the Carnival Tournament. Teams from all over Norfolk enjoyed a fine day's bowling on a fine day. Winners were the all- lady triple of Dianne Barnes, Jo Buxton and Pam Rolph. But you don't have to be able to bowl as well as them to have a fun game on The Morley Green. It's open every day to everyone. We've got bowls and shoes to borrow and the Green's open until the beginning of October. You might even get some sunshine.

Leisurely Sunday Cycle Rides.
