The Morley Club

The Summer Bowls Season is nearly over. Oh, dear! We'll be counting the days to Xmas next. Well, at least our last Open Tournament was played in fine sunny conditions - and won by a team of Morley bowlers, George Owen, Roger Bean and Terry Buck. When the Green does close in October you can always move indoors and play Carpet Bowls at The Morley on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. Or take up Snooker at the Club's four table Snooker Room, the best in the area. And, to try and keep the diehard bowlers happy, we have been trying to find out about a game of Table Bowls you can play on a Snooker table. Do you know where we can track down a set?

If you answered that question easily enough you'll probably want to come along to both the Club's Quiz night on the last Tuesday of the month, and also The Town Quiz, which The Morley is hosting this winter on Wednesday evenings. The next ones are on the 10th and 17th of October.

BREAK DINNER DANCE

BREAK Charity are holding a Dinner Dance at Northrepps Cottage near Overstrand and we would like to invite as many people as possible to rasie funds for our high quality services for people with special care needs.
