Creamy Tagliatelle with Bacon & Mushrooms
8 oz tagliatelle pasta
1/2 tsp origano
6 oz bacon, chopped
4 oz button mushrooms, sliced
1/2 oz plain flour
3/4 pint milk
1/4 single pint cream
3 oz grated cheese
1 oz butter
1 garlic clove, crushed
Cook pasta until tender.
Meanwhile, fry bacon and mushrooms in a little butter.
Set aside.
Melt butter, add flour and blend in the milk and cream.
Add garlic, origano, season.
Bring to the boil.
Add cheese, bacon and mushrooms, simmer for 2 mins.
Drain and rinse pasta and combine with sauce.
Serve immediately.

Youth group helpers wanted
Local youth groups especially the Brownies, are in need of helpers to support their
growing numbers of children.
You have to be willing to have a CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) check, which is normal
for anyone working with children these days, but you will understand that every parent
wants to know that their child is as safe as possible in all circumstances. It is only a
couple of hours a week and is an enjoyable way of teaching our children new things and
making new friends. It is FUN!

Sheringham & District Flower Club
The AGM and Supper is to be held on Thursday 7th February. Monthly meetings with a
demonstrator begin on March 6th with Jackie O'Hare from Deeping St James entertaining us
with "The Mad March Hare". We meet at Woodfields School, Holt Road, Sheringham
on the first Thursday of the month and all are most welcome. Refreshments are served from
7pm, the demonstration is at 7.30pm and there is a sales table and raffle. Come and join
us for Flowers, Fun and Friendship.
