TAKE ADVANTAGE OF STROKE AWARENESS
Is your blood pressure too high or too low? Now you have a chance to find out.
Cromer and Sheringham Rotary Club are staging two 'Stroke Awareness' days - the
first on Saturday, April 26 at the WI hall in Cromer; the second at the Oddfellows Hall in
Sheringham on Saturday, May 3. Qualified nurses will be in attendance at both
locations assisted by the Rotary Club and members of the public are invited to come along
between 10 am and 1 pm to have a reading and receive advice.

CROMER BEACH CLEAN-UP - CHANGE OF DATE
Because of a high tide the big clean-up on Cromer beach has had to be postponed for one
week. Originally planned for Sunday, May 11, (see press notice dated April 17), the
clean-up will now take place on Sunday, May 18
Cromer in Bloom, the Rotary Club of Cromer and Sheringham and the Cromer Beach Hut Owners
Association will pool resources and spend two hours clearing up as much the inevitable
litter as possible.
Any members of the public who would like to join in will be most welcome and the
volunteers are meeting at the foot of The Gangway, Cromer at 10am. It is recommended that
helpers wear garden gloves or similar protection. North Norfolk District Council will be
providing certain equipment to help with picking up and clearing. |
