Centenary Celebrations

St Joseph's Church, sheringham, Centenary Celebrations

2008 is the centenary year of St Joseph’s Church, Sheringham. To mark this occasion, we are inviting all parishioners past and present and their relatives to share in the celebrations of this historic event.

Centenary Mass - Wednesday 30th July - 7.30pm

The Bishop of East Anglia will be present at a Mass of Thanksgiving. Our celebration of the Eucharist will be followed by light refreshments in the Parish Rooms.

Centenary Books

To celebrate the centenary we have published two books. Funds raised from the sales will go towards the recent renovation of the bellcote. From Allotment Field to Heaven’s Gate by Teresa Collins & Jane Valsler.  This book is an historic recollection of the Parish from the small chapel that Fr Carter built in a tiny fishing village to the magnificent Grade II Listed Building. Information that was kept secret for years is now revealed to celebrate 100 years.
