LOCAL ROTARIANS ON FACT-FINDING VISIT

Several members of Cromer and Sheringham Rotary Club set off for Kimbolton, in Cambridgeshire, last Sunday on a fact-finding visit. Their destination was the Kimbolton Country Fayre and Classic Car Collectoion held on the grounds of Kimbolton Castle and organised by their counterparts in Kimbolton Castle Rotary Club.

"The event raises an average of £15,000 for charity each year from the one day", said Jill Boocock of the Cromer and Sheringham Club who herself moved to Cromer from Kimbolton nine years ago. "We went to find out how they do it," she added, " and see if some of the successful ideas could be applied here in North Norfolk. The event shows just what can be done and is exactly what Rotary is all about. If they can do it, then we should be able to do so as well".
