NORTH NORFOLK PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY

Mr Peter Yeo who is a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society (among other distinctions) gave an illustrated talk to members of NoNoPS (North Norfolk Photographic Society) on 8th October.

Peter is a very well known photographer and photographic judge and came with dozens of his own photographs amply illustrating his skill.

He especially emphasised that good pictures can be seen in the most ordinary places: one way streets, flaking painted doors, street lights left switched on in daylight and so on.

Peter Yeo travels all over the place giving his talks and judging photo contests and advised members to be on the look-out for interesting shapes and colours. Even in Leicester he found interesting pictures: some said this was some challenge!

Peter is Honorary President of RB Camera Club at Lincoln and is sponsored by Fotospeed - suppliers of photo printing papers and inks among other things, and NoNoPS members were very interested in the wide range of samples that he brought with him.

The next meeting of the Society will be a Photoshop Evening with Norman Laughland on Wednesday 22nd October at Loades Hall, Holt starting at 7.30 pm and visitors will be very welcome.
