North Norfolk Photographic Society

North Norfolk Photographic Society (NoNoPS) members got ‘up close and personal’ on Wednesday 5th November.

John Miller brought along models Nicky Langley and Owen Watkins, and some sophisticated studio flash and background screen equipment, so that members could take portraits under studio conditions.

Helped along by expert NoNoPS member John Miller, cameras were soon clicking away, with the photographers trying to amuse and to get the best from Nicky and Owen - who it has to be said were extremely patient and tolerant!

Nicky and Owen had to leave soon after a while, and their place was taken by Alison Elliot - who enjoyed the process just as much as everyone else. Also, a Table-Top studio was set up in the adjoining room to provide further experience of picturing small static objects.

The Society’s thanks go out to John Miller and all the models for a constructive and fun evening.

The next meeting of the Society will be a show of projected images from the 33rd Smethwick International Open Competition, followed by a ’Photo Forum’ session, on Wednesday 19th November at Loades Hall, Holt starting at 7.30 pm and visitors will be very welcome.
