FREE paper to the residents of Sheringham, but we do ask you to remember the very old
saying -'Nothing in life is free'. This paper can only be free to the residents if it is
supported by the businesses, hence the advertising. Our town's businesses pay for this
publication for you. Without them, there would be NO free papers in town. We would like to
put a personal THANK YOU on our front page to all of the business people in this first
edition. Not only have they paid to advertise, but they have done so blindly, with trust
in us as they had not seen any evidence to prove that they would get what we have said
they will. It is appreciated and we will do our very best to make sure that we do 'A Good
Job". |

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our printers, Chevertons in Cromer.
They have been extremely helpful in making sure that this first edition will live up to
it's billing. We have an expanding team working for the paper, some are paid employees,
one is on work experience and some are volunteers.
They are, Deborah, Ineke, Steven, Jacky & Terry. We hope to be adding to this group of
misfits over the coming weeks. Make no mistake, we are all trying our best to put together
an interesting paper, that will encourage discussion and response from readers. We intend
to limit the advertising within the paper, to ensure that there is always a good amount of
information to interest you, the readers. It will be packed with controversial subjects,
useful information and competitions with small prizes for all ages. We want you to look
forward to reading our paper and to put pen to paper and answer with your news and views.
It will be delivered professionally, so if you live in sheringham and don't get a copy,
please let us know and we will follow it up.
