Read the sentences and explain why each one is a little "fishy."

1. No one goes to that restaurant any more because it's too crowded.

2. I'm glad I don't like spinach, because if I liked it, I'd eat it, and it tastes awful.

3. If you can't read this sign, ask for help.

CAN YOU FIND BEAKY?

Sheringham Community Paper We will be hiding Beaky in every issue, maybe more than once and at different sizes - see if you can spot him.

When you do, write and tell us what page(s) he is on and where, giving the same details as before.
Small prize for the winner.
He's in THIS issue, can you find him?

KIDS SAY THE FUNNIEST THINGS
Have you any funny stories about things your children have said?
Let us have them, we would love to hear from you.

We were driving along one winters night when we came up behind a gritting lorry. As usual the grit hit the car and made a lot of noise.

One of my children sitting in the back seat asked what was happening, so I told her that they were putting salt on the roads.

Another little voice piped up with, "When are they going to put the pepper on?"

Bottom Left: Damian Richards
Bottom Right: It's for Charity mate!
