Finished joint 4th in the league, sixth on goal difference. It was a good first year in
11-a-side and all the boys plaid well.

players were used in the team. Alan Beasy was playing in the side in 1958 after leaving
Cromer F. C. and is still with the Club (Not Playing!) and can be heard on the touchline
asking for someone to, ' fetch my boots".

unpleasant game ended in the Whelkers getting beaten 1 - 0. Following the match mud was
