Girlguiding Norfolk

Rainbows, Brownies and Guides are thriving in Sheringham, so much so we are now operating a waiting list for anyone wishing to join any of our units.

Rainbows are for young girls aged 5 - 7 years and is the first step into Guiding. This list is now recruiting for 2004. Brownies and Guides have large numbers of girls ranging in age from 7-10 years and 10-14 years respectively. We also have a Ranger Guide unit for girls aged 14+ which gives girls the opportunity to try different skills ranging from to canoeing to cooking with lots in between, including the chance to work towards a Duke of Edinburgh Award.

If your daughter is interested in joining us then please contact Sue, Sheringham District Commissioner on 01263 514482 in the first instance.

We are also actively recruiting adult help. If any parents are interested in helping at any of our meetings on either a regular or casual basis I would love to hear from you. If you can spare approximately 2 hours per week then please contact me for an initial chat. Guiding is great fun for everyone involved and parents who have become reglar helpers really enjoy the weekly meetings.
