Cromer & Sheringham Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society will be presenting COLE, an entertainment based on the words and music of COLE PORTER.
Sheringham Little Theatre 14 - 18 October
Sheringham Community Paper
He was one of the most prolific composers of twentieth century popular music. His music was to span over 50 years. His songs were used in the cinema musical Can Can starring Shirley McLean and the successful song and dance musical Kiss Me Kate.

The songs in this entertainment are interspersed by short accounts of Cole's life, and through the various sequences in the show it illustrates the different music style he adopted. Songs like 'Anything Goes', 'I Get a Kick Out of You' and 'Just One of Those Things' are classic songs well known to an audience and the less familiar numbers reveal a witty and wicked side to this remarkable composer.

The society now has a web site where you can see about our previous and planned future productions. www.csods.co.uk

Readers Call. I agreed with your comments in issue 23 about the roundabout. If it was lowered and flowers were used it would be safer and prettier at the entrance to our town. G Felt
