High School looks into GM crops

There have been rumours that Sheringham High School has been experimenting on G.M. crops in their science lesson and so we sent a reporter to check out this alarming possibility. We spoke to Mr Jack who was in charge and he confirmed that they were trying to perfect a strain of beans that could talk. I asked to see them and after a little hesitation, was allowed to see Jack and his beans-talk.

Yes, it was a huge publicity stunt aimed at getting coverage for the school's annual pantomime. Rehearsals are well under way. They will culminate in a spectacularly spectactular production of Jack and the Beanstalk, the classically traditional pantomime about a character's escalation of a ginormous legume.

The show will run on Decembre 11th, 12th and 13th. It stars a whole host of local stars:

Idle Jack is played by Victoria Grice
The Giant's two bumbling oafs by James Russon and Tim Buddle
The Goose who lays the Golden Egg by Rod Wills
Last but not least Kate Davis as the Fat Geriatric Fairy.

The High School Panto has a well deserved reputation for not only being Sheringham,s biggest Panto but also for being the best and a truly local show.

JUMP FOR JOY
As we said, way back in issue 23, Helen Cutler of Celebrations in Sheringham undertook a parachute jump in aid of Barnado's. We are very pleased to report that she made it, unharmed and as the photos below show, with a smile on her face!
Sheringham Community Paper Helen says that it was an absolutely brilliant experience, having took 20 minutes to gain the correct height and dive through the clouds, she could see the whole of East Anglia.
She raised in excess of £450 and told me that she would love to do it again! Well done Helen. Sheringham Community Paper
