WHAT A SUCCESSFUL LAUNCH
Britain's newest radio station is celebrating its highly successful launch. Nearly a hundred dignitaries gathered to welcome North Norfolk Radio on air on 96.2 and 103.2FM

And large numbers of listeners tuned in too to hear chairman Ian McNicol formally open it.
Sheringham Community Paper Station manager Sharron Tuck is delighted with the response already. She said: "We are already building up a loyal listener base in a handful of days. They are always happy to tell us what they like - and what they don't."
And this was demonstrated with the station's first on-line news poll which asked whether the Government should stump up the cash to put Holt on the national rail network.  Two hundred and fifty people responded in just four hours - and the total was a record for all internet polls for all radio stations owned by Tindle Radio.  News editor John Bultitude said: "This just goes to show our listeners are also keen to have their say on the issues which affect North Norfolk." But it was not all heavy issues - and the station's also attracted several top-class guests in its first week on air including world-famous opera singer Lesley Garrett and top singing star Ronan Keating.

Christmas Bazaar at Aylmerton. The annual Christmas Bazaar in aid of the restoration fund for the Church of St John the Baptist will be held at the Village Hall, Aylmerton on Saturday 6th December, starting at 2.00 p.m. There will be home made cakes, fancy goods, gifts, white elephant, plant and grocery stalls, tombola, raffles, and teas served. Entrance is free.
