Sheringham Community Paper
WILLIAM (BILLY) WEBDALE
Sheringham Community Paper My name is Christine Cole, and I am the daughter of Irene Cole of 11 Waterbank Road in Sheringham. Mum has told me that our neighbour, Mr. William Webdale of 7 Waterbank Road, died on Friday. I am sure that local sources will be eager for photographs of this man who meant so much to our community. Here are two photographs of Mr. Webdale doing his work--keeping the community informed and happy.  As a Sheringham lover who lives in Belgium, my world is a little smaller for lack of him. Christine Cole. Sheringham Community Paper
I too counted Billy as a friend, his love of people and his dogs were just two of the characteristics about him that made him so loveable. He was one of the true friends of this town, which he loved. I shall miss our chats down Waterbank Road and in the Salvation Army Shop and of course at Royal British Legion Functions.

God Bless Billy, I shall miss you and so will all my family. Melanie (Editor)

Dear Editor

I am sure many of your readers will be sad to hear of the sudden death of Mr Ron Green, the tailor, who lived at 20 Church Street, Sheringham. Would any customer who had left garments with Mr Green please collect them from the Salvation Army Shop, Church Street, Sheringham. The family are very grateful to the Salvation Army for their help at this sad time.
Thank you. Denise Lattaway
