Turkey delight at BREAK!
Sheringham based BREAK Charity, which provides holidays and respite care for children and adults with special needs, in particular the Rainbow holiday centre in Sheringham, would like to say a big thank you to Mr Paul Creasey and his mother for donating a 15lb turkey for their guests this Christmas.

The turkey had been specially selected for a Creasey family Christmas lunch, but unfortunately when Paul got home with turkey in arms, he discovered it was too big for his oven! Luckily BREAK has now managed to find a home for the turkey in the freezer at Rainbow ready for Spyros, our resident chef, to cook it over the festive season.
Local NHS helps patients to resolve concerns
The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) is there to help when you need advice, have concerns, or do not no where to turn.

We provide confidential advice and support, helping you to sort out any concerns you may have about your health care, guiding you through the different services available from the NHS.

PALS will be able to:

Offer a confidential and impartial service.
Advise and support patients, their families and carers.
Provide information on NHS Services.
Listen to your concerns, suggestions or queries.
Help sort out problems on your behalf.

We act independently when handling patient and family concerns, liaising with staff, managers and, where appropriate, relevant organisations, to find a solution. If necessary, we can also refer patients and families to specific local or national support agencies.

Every NHS Trust has a PALS which deals with enquiries relating to the services they provide. To contact the PALS for community and GP health services in central Norfolk, telephone 01603 307340 and a PALS officer will help you with your enquiry or visit www.heron.nhs.uk for local PALS contact details.

PALS at Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital can be reached on 01603 289035 or email PALS@nnuh.nhs.uk.
