WARTIME HISTORY OF SHERINGHAM
germanplane.jpg (8357 bytes) We believe there is a very good story behind this photograph and we would like to gather as much information as we can, so that we can put it on our web site www.at-sheringham-norfolk.co.uk.

We believe it is taken around December 1939 on the beach at Sheringham. Possibly in front of the Berlington. Reputedly it was only the second German plane to fall on mainland Britain during the war.  Is this true? Do you know anything about this?

We would really like to add this to our history pages, preferably in the words of people who witnessed it.
