BOUQUET FOR MOTHERS DAY. |
| Local sweet shop worker, Amanda Allard, was
blooming with pride this Mothers Dayafter her son won
her a bouquet of flowers in a competition held by Norwich and Peterborough Building
Society! Staff at N&Ps Sheringham branch asked children in the local community
to create their very own portrait of their mum and complete the sentence I
love my mum because.. Tyler Allards entry was chosen as the winner
and he won an art set for himself and a beautiful bouquet of flowers to give to his mum
for Mothers Day (Sunday 21st March). Tyler is seven and lives in Gresham with
his mum, dad Stephen and brother Thomas (9). He attends Gresham Village School and
when he isnt there, Tyler enjoys going to judo lessons at Sheringham Judo club,
where he has won several medals. |
 |
He also likes drawing and learning about dinosaurs.
Tylers picture showed his mum outside with flowers and Chocolate
Box(the name of the shop she works in) written on her jumper!
Tylers winning sentence was I love my mum because she is
the best and I love her. |
| Caroline Knowles is manager of N&Ps branch at 29 High Street,
Sheringham. She said We wanted to hold a Mothers Day competition to give
local youngsters the chance to show their mums just how much they care. Children have a
lovely way of expressing themselves through art and we had some beautiful pictures on
display in the branch. Tyler deserves a big well done for his picture, he obviously spent
a lot of time and effort making it. |
