Dear Editor, I am writing to say I totally
agree with the parent who wrote in the last issue about the ILLEGAL PARKING outside the
school. Anyone who has passed their driving test will know that the yellow zig zag
lines outside a school are a NO PARKING zone.
I walk to school with my 3 children most days but on the occasions that I drive, I will
always manage to find a parking space on Childs Way, which is then a short distance to
walk to the school. I never find it necessary to park right outside the school gates even
when it is raining! The traffic division of the police have been informed on
numerous occasions about the ILLEGAL PARKING outside the school and whilst we have seen a
reduction in the number of cars parked there morning and afternoon, there are still the
significant few that cannot seem to realise that they are putting young childrens
lives at risk.
I believe on the spot fines would be the answe:r- £30 fixed penalty I
cant imagine anyone getting fined twice! If you are one of the people who are
breaking the law every day then please find an alternative parking area, stop the ILLEGAL
PARKING and make our children safer on their way to and from school. Thank you.

Question: I am sitting at a table. Ten flies are on the table. With one swat - I kill
three flies. How many flies are left on the table?
Answer: 3. I killed three flies - so they would remain on the table. The rest would have
flown away immediately
