Celebrate |
Sheringham FC celebrated their most
successful season for many years at their presentation night at Pinewoods Leisure Centre.
Following promotion to senior football as CHAMPIONS of Division Two, victory in the Cromer
Lifeboat Cup and a place in the final of the Junior KO Cup for the first time and a
runners-up spot for the Reserves in division One of the North East Norfolk League there
was plenty to celebrate. Chairman Chris Ayres congratulated all the players,
management and back room staff, committee and sponsors for their hard work, which had
resulted in a very successful season both on and off the pitch. A gift was presented to
Chairman Chris Ayres and a framed first team photograph was presented to sponsor Alistair
Deans of the Lobster. |

Awards were presented to Reserve Players by Brian and
Glenys Wilson of Henries (sponsors). Reserves Palyers, Player of the Year: Steve Thompson,
Managers Player of the Year: Andy Hooker, Young Player of the Year: Chris Shepherd.
Alistair Deans of The Lobster presented the Leading Goal Scorer: Simon Robinson.
First Team, Players Player of the Year: Kristian Gleave, Merit Award: Matthew Gorham,
Young Player of the Year:Phil Linden Ball, Leading Goal Scorer: Kristian Gleave.

With promotion gained in each of the last two
seasons the club are back where they belong and ready for an assault on the Premier
Division. There will also be a lot of off the field improvements at Weybourne Road ready
for the new season.
