Annual Fund Raising Quiz at
The Crown Inn

On Monday 2nd December a sponsored quiz took place at The Crown Inn, in aid of Alzheimer's Disease

Quizmaster, Terry Phillips, compiled a list of 200 music questions of all types, old and new.

During the half time break there was a raffle organised by Christine Codling and Christine Lambert

who had obtained prizes generously donated by Local Traders.

Over Ł600 was raised on the night for this worthy cause. Our thanks to all who donated prizes and took part on the night

DO YOU NEED HELP?

We are aware that St. Peter's Parish hall will need large sums of money spending on it to bring it up to the required health and safety standards by the year 2004. The amount involved is considerable, Ł15,000 perhaps more. We feel that these new regulations must cover many other groups including youth groups in Sheringham.

Are any other groups out there effected by these new regulations? Are they getting any government help towards these changes? Are you a group who uses a hall or building in Sheringham that have to raise funds to stay open?

If you are, we want to hear from you.

It is essential to the community of Sheringham that the groups for all ages are given as much support as possible to ensure that they remain open for future generations as well as this one.
