PLEASE HELP. Do you
know where MOLLY PARKS is?
My mother would dearly love to write to Molly Parks, as she has sent Christmas cards to
her but with no return address on them, and she remembers her with affection from the
times she returned to England while my grandmother was still alive. I believe that Molly
was the niece of a friend of my grandmother, who died about 15 years ago. So she wouldn't
be in the younger generation, but as my mother received a card this year (alas, with no
return address), Molly is still thankfully with us. My mother believes she lives on
a street called Waterbank Road (or something similar to that). My mother is unsure if she
is still married, but she always called herself "Mrs." Many, many thanks.
Frances. Answers to the paper please |

EXHIBITION FOR DAY CARE SERVICES |
| Adults with learning disabilities from the
north Norfolk region who attend BREAKs Day Care Services will be exhibiting a range
of artwork which they have produced from Tuesday 1 to 26 February 2005 at the Sheringham
Little Theatre. BREAKs Day Care Services provide specialist care for adults
aged 18 to 65 and over, all of whom have learning disabilities. They operate one
main centre in Sheringham, and six further cluster groups based in local
communities in and around the north Norfolk area. The service encourages independence,
builds confidence and offers new experiences to help build and develop everyones
potential. This includes taking part in a vast array of activities from visiting local
facilities and taking part in music workshops, to this, expressing themselves and using
their imagination to create beautiful and inspiring artwork. The exhibition will
feature a portfolio of paintings and pictures produced by clients over the last year in
both group and individual work. They have used materials which have created many different
styles and imagery, from acrylics, watercolours, marbling and other textured effects to
encaustic effects, using wax and a hot iron. Some of the pictures will be available
for sale, although some are too precious to sell! The exhibition will formally open
formally on the evening of Monday 31 January, and run until Saturday 26 February 2005. |
