Dear Editor,
East Anglias Childrens Hospices (EACH) would like to extend New Year wishes to
all our supporters and send our warmest thanks to everyone who has either fundraised on
our behalf or generously donated (or both!) in 2004. EACH care for more than 300
terminally ill children and their families every year. We provide care 24 hours a day,
every day, taking some of the pressure off family members and comforting them at the most
difficult of times. During 2005 it will cost around £4.5 million to run our 3 hospices
and outreach teams and with around 90% of this total having to be raised through public
donation, you can see why your past, present and future support is so valuable. Without
those fine supporters who make donations, volunteer in our shops, arrange sales, fairs,
quizzes and coffee mornings - the many that take part in sponsored events, recycle, climb
mountains or even jump out of planes, we simply wouldnt be able to continue to care
for the children and families in East Anglia who really need our help. Thank you all once
again for 2004 and of course your continued support in 2005.The EACH Funding Team,
