 NORTH NORFOLK CONSERVATIVES Sheringham Branch of the North Norfolk Conservative Association held their
Annual General Meeting this week. Thanks were given to all the volunteers who ensure the
delivery of newsletters which are sent out on a regular basis to all the homes in
Sheringham. The Committee was re-elected to serve another year with the addition of Peter
Fitch who is the Conservative County Council candidate for the May elections. The Chairman
Madeleine Ashcroft thanked everyone who had supported the Valentines Dinner on 12th
February when Gillian Shephard MP had been an entertaining guest speaker, with many
Norfolk anecdotes to impart. The Priory Maze had provided a splendid venue and repast for
which they are to be congratulated. Members were urged to continue the good work in
Sheringham and to remember what an important year this is going to be.
The weekend to Breakthrough Breast Cancer will run from 23rd - 25th September. Over this one unforgettable weekend thousands of women and men will unite in London to walk 60 kilometres in a bold determination and hope. It's about making a real difference in the fight against breast cancer, forming new friendships and honouring those people we have lost. Along the way participants will have lots of fun and most importantly will be raising money to help bring Breakthrough closer to our vision of future free from the fear of Breast Cancer.
