PUB HANDS OVER LARGE CHEQUE |
| Alistair Deans,
landlord of The Lobster Public House and his regular customers raised £1000.00 for the
Sheringham Football Club. There was an excellent turnout for the presentation of the
cheque on Monday 16th December at the Lobster. The Team and the Reserves were there along
with several regulars and club members. Alistair is a 'touch line' supporter, he supplies
the team with sandwiches and refreshments during matches. One of the fundraising events
held to help raise funds was when he hosted 'Burger 'n' Becks' night last October, which
was very well supported. He would like to thank his customers especially the Regulars and
Club members for their continuing help and support. |

Alistair also raises money for the RNLI and is currently a trainee crewmember, the Lobster
is the base of The Lobster Potties who hosted their 9th Annual Potty Morris & Folk
Festival in July. The Potties began as an entry for the Sheringham Carnival to raise funds
for Sheringham Health Centre a few years ago and since taking over the pub, he has
continued to support the Potties.
