For those who are unfamiliar with the
league. Teams consist of a minimum of six players, there are six head to head singles
matches and two double matches in each legue match. 1 point is awarded per frame won and
two bonus points are gained for a team that actually wins the match outright. So if you
win the match 5-3, you get the five points gained by winning a point per frame, plus two
extra points for an outright win making a total of 7 points. If you lose 3-5 you only get

What is our motivation and business strategy? |
As parents of some of the youth of Sheringham and as local people we actually do love the
town. Knowledge is power and that is our motivation. We are interested in what is
happening, who the personalities are, what charities need help, what the powers that be
have planned for us, anything really that could effect one or all of us.
We believe that there is more than one side to every argument and that communication
involves equal amounts of talking and listening. There are many people in this town, of
all ages, who quietly contribute to what is really a wonderful way of life, who go
unrecognised for their hard work. We as a town do not always realise just how much these
faceless people do for us. It is a bit like going to a show at the Little Theatre, for
every person on stage there are probably four or five behind the scenes, without whom the
show would not exist. Our town is like that and we want to blow the trumpets of the
faceless and give them the thanks they deserve. Over the coming weeks we will be trying to
let people know what is available for them to do, where they can get help, political
changes that effect Sheringham and more.
Our business strategy is very simple, we intend to get enough advertisers to cover the
costs of the paper and use the remaining space to promote Sheringham.
I hope that this answers questions raised by D Robinson and if she would like to pop into
the office to see us, we would be more than happy to show the letters we have received,
complete with names supplied (not those withheld). We would have contacted her personally,
unfortunately we could not do so, as we could not find the address given in the letter.
We have nothing to hide and you all know where we are, pop in anytime Monday - Friday
10:30 - 6:00.
We will put the kettle on.
