Sheringham Carnival Queen selection dance was yet again a
terrific success. There were several contenders this year, all of which were worthy
contenders. Our Carnival Queen (centre) is Ellen Morris with attendants (Left) Eleanor
Jackson and (right) Storm Bilyard. Congratulations to them all, we look forward to their
official crowning at the start of Carnival Week.
With so many Carnivals across the region slowly going under, it is a credit to the
Carnival Committees past and present that the Sheringham Carnival is going from strength
to strength. This year has several new events planned and promises to be bigger and better
than ever. Visitors to the Carnival were already contacting us before Christmas for
details of this carnival, as it is so popular. So come on people of Sheringham, lets give
them a show the way only we can. Floats, panto horses, fancy dress, none have to cost a
fortune but are all enormous fun.
Sheringham Carnival Association is still looking for someone to fill the post of Press
