Summer Production 'Lord Arthur Savile's Crime', by Constance Cox, based on the short story by Oscar Wilde.  Poor Lord Arthur Savile has a problem: He has been told by an eminent Palmist that he will commit a murder, but of course honour dictates that it would be only right and proper to perform this dastardly deed before his imminent marriage to the lovely Sybil. But who should be his victim?  Aided by the foreign anarchist, Winkelkopf, he attempts to commit his crime before approaching nuptials. Will he succeed? Will there indeed be a death in the family? Come and see Oscar Wilde's improbable and witty Period comedy and find out for yourselves!  The show runs from Wednesday22nd to Saturday 25th June at the Sheringham Little Theatre; curtain-up at 7.30 pm. GHOSTLY GOINGS ON

An unusual evening of paranormal activity took place recently in North Norfolk. One hundred people from Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and the Home Counties, gathered on Friday 13th May in the barn of The Three Horseshoes at Scottow for a paranormal investigation organised by local company, 'Haunted Weekend'.

The intrepid ghost hunters were led by international Mediums Shirley Cimelli, who featured recently on BBC Radio Norfolk's 'Guess the Guest' show and Dominic Zenden, who appeared on 'Jane Goldman Investigates' and is a Medium for 'The Ghost House', where 'Most Haunted' investigated. Neil Fellowes, who also appeared on the Jane Goldman show and is the UK's foremost paranormal investigator, was on hand to add a scientific slant to the event and to show his 'Faces from Beyond' captured by the I.T.C process. The Three Horseshoes is built on the site of the Norwich plague pits where many hundreds of bodies are buried in mass graves and many discarnate souls are believed to still roam the area in search of an answer to their continued existence. The ghostly figure of a lady was seen walking up the steps to the stage and a figure in a cape was spotted by two people. Dates picked up were 1780, 1796 and 1798 and a young boy who was connected to the name of Mary, was believed to have died in a fire close to the site. Other names picked up included Edmund, George, Adam aged eight and Peter; who died at the age of five years and was buried on the site.

A variety of paranormal and scientific tools, such as EMF meters, laser thermometers, planchettes, table tipping, scrying and glass moving, were used to contact the Spirit world. Many people felt pins and needles in their hands while others felt woozy and hot as Spirit presence came close to their auras. One die-hard sceptic was in tears after making contact with a recently deceased loved one and the evening brought mixed emotions to many others as they opened their minds and explored other possibilities.
