![]() WINSTON SINGING FARMER STILL LIFE AND LANDSCAPES For our second Exhibition this year we are pleased to show the work of
Lillian Shaw 'STILL LIFES AND LANDSCAPES' is the first of two shows of Lillians work this
year and concentrates on Norfolk Landscapes and Still lifes. Lili's art training had
a strong emphasis on observation and drawing. She still encourages those skills when
teaching others in her own art classes. Part of her upbringing is the love of light,
colour and texture. Lilli builds up pastels in layers and uses the paper to base 'ring'
against them. This technique brings out a richness or harmony to contrast with areas of
light thus creating an atmoshpere of the place and time. The show runs from Saturday
25th June to thursday 14th July at The Stable Gallery, The Kelling Estate, Kelling, Holt,
Norfolk NR25 7EW. Opening hours are 10-5 monday to Saturday and 10-4 on Sunday
admission is free . Full disabled access facilities. www.norfolkeye.co.uk Tel Jim Witherspoon on
