North Norfolk Luncheon Club

I am delighted to announce that the North Norfolk Luncheon Club has re-commenced inviting business members from all industries in North Norfolk. We will meet the last Thursday of every month at the Burlington Hotel The Esplanade Sheringham 12pm for a 12.3pm two course meal, at a cost of only £10.00, payable on the day. The last meeting was found to be a great opportunity to meet like minded people, gain business and relax over a pleasant lunch. It is an informal atmosphere, and occasionally a guest speaker will be invited to attend. I look forward to meeting new members, and hope you will be interested in joining us. Should you require further information please do not hesitate to contact me at Watsons Residential Sheringham Branch on 01263 823201 or e-mail c.lake@watsons-ea.co.uk

READERS EMAIL

Bit of a long shot this but I am trying to regain contact with my mothers family (Skelton), in particular her brothers descendants. Her brother Godfrey was born between 1890 and 1900 and retired to a cottage in Sheringham where he ended his days (date unknown). He and his wife Angela had 4 sons (Kenneth, Chris, John, and Paul and two daughters Mary and Lucy). I just thought that someone with roots in Sheringham might know something.
Many thanks, John Macrae

Lines on Life

'Something old, Something new
Something borrowed
We bring to you'

On Monday 3 October 2005, as part of the lunchtime entertainments in Sheringham Little Theatre, Nona Gray and Libby Henshaw present a light hearted selection of poetry and prose reflecting on life from childhood to old age. Some of the poetry they have written themselves and the rest of the programme is selected from their favourite authors old and new. Make a date at lunchtime 1.10pm at The Little Theatre
