2. SheringhamPlus Community Partnership have hit the ground running for the New Year with the news that the final piece of their funding jigsaw has been put into place.  A presentation to Government Office on the proposals for the enhancements to the town received the thumbs up on Monday 19th December paving the way for the improvements to start.  This decision has brought together European funding.
The projects include the implementation of some nature trails, seafront and town centre enhancements which include making Otterndorf Green a more attractive area and focal point, a new lighting scheme for the town and seafront, a marketing campaign for the town and surrounding areas and the bringing back into use of Oddfellows Hall.

In addition to this Sheringham also got the green light for the funding for the learning 4 everyone project.  This project offers funding for learning and skills aiming to improve opportunities for the community by bringing a wide range of partners together to deliver appropriate courses to meet needs.  The project will begin in January and can be accessed through the shop premises.

Information on the projects can be obtained through the shop on station road or phoning 822190
