The 1st XI kept up their promotion bid with a resounding 6 - 1 (Carey 3) victory over
struggling HELLESDON at the rec and the following week played hosts to FOSTERS at Home in
the league K.O. Cup.
An exciting and evenly fought game, which was to be expected from two teams challenging
for the league title, was won 2 - 0 by Sheringham with a goal in each half.
The reserve XI had mixed fortunes. After visiting a revitalised HAPPISBURGH and winning 2
- 1 they were beaten 7 - 2 by AYLSHAM 'A' in the Benevolent Cup. The team has the ability
to do well but must learn to commit themselves to the challenges arising from each game.
JANUARY FIXTURES 2.00pm Kick Off.
1st XI - 25th - COSTESSEY (H)
RESERVE XI - BUXTON (H)

about?

This dedicated team exists through the hard work and dedication of the managers, coaches
and team members. They are backed by local businesses who sponsor them.
Yet again they have brought home to Sheringham an award.
But what is it for? You will have to wait for our next issue for all the details, with the
latest match reports. Sorry!

HANDY HINTS
When pouring hot water out of a pan into the sink, partially fill the sink with cold water
first to prevent steam from rising up and scalding your hands. Do not be put off if there
seems to be more steam than usual really hot steam is invisible, it shows up only as it
cools. |
