CATS PROTECTION
As our fosterers live in Aylsham, Briston, Dilham, Hemsby, North Walsham and Stalham we
do ask people to contact Stephanie on the Cats Protection phone number if they are looking
for a cat. Several people have recently been very disappointed on arriving at
Stephanie's to find they are unable to see the cat they are interested in. Some have
even come some distance to find that the particular cat they wish to see is at present
living quite close to them and they have wasted their time on an unnecesary journey.
Stephanie is a volunteer and is not paid for the work that she does. She
could be at work, out shopping, doing a home check, taking a cat to the vets or fund
raising. Although several people help to care for the cats at Stephanie's we cannot
guarantee someone will be there who will be able to help you. If you would like to
give a cat a new home please call first to find out what is available (we update our
website once a week). When discussing the type of cat you are looking for, Stephanie
will be able to identify which ones would be suitable and make arrangements for you to
view them.
We have already re-homed over 70 cats this year, including several of our older cats,
Marmite, Twinkle, Minnie, Harry, Harrison and Frankie whose ages ranged from 7 - 12 years.
These cats were all still kittenish and loved to play. At present we have
cats waiting to be chosen whose ages range from 6 months to 12 years, all of which will
make delightful companions.
If you are looking for a cat, call Stephanie on 01692 535858. Alternatively you can visit www.northwalshamcats.co.uk
for descriptions and photographs of the cats before giving her a call on the above number.

RACE FOR LIFE
On Saturday the 6th May at 2pm I will be doing the Race For Life for Cancer at the
Norfolk Show Ground in Norwich as part of my Jaywood Cleaning Services Team.
I will be taking part in memory of my Nanny who battled cancer and my Nan who also fought
cancer but was given the all clear. So this year I will be doing it for them and
lots of others.
I am on the cancer research website with my own page at www.raceforlife.org/vikkjay
As a charity, Cancer Research UK rely overwhelmingly on the success of fundraising events
such as Race for Life to continue their life-saving research into the prevention,
treatment and cure of all forms of cancer. Donating through this site is simple,
fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer
Research UK will receive your money faster. So please sponsor me now! Many thanks
for your support.
Please come along and support me!!
