| SHERINGHAM
AND CROMER ROUND TABLE |
Round Table Area Chairman and Sheringham & Cromer Tabler Malcolm
Fisher has recently launched a nation-wide search for unwanted mobile phones on behalf of
the Round Table Area 6 which covers Norfolk and North Suffolk. Each phone received
will raise up to £10 for charity and 100,000 envelopes have recently been sent out to
Round Tables in Great Britain and Ireland to receive the phones.

|
The proceeds received will be shared
between two charities which have been supported by Round Table both locally and nationally
for a number of years Whizz Kidz (www.whizz-kidz.org.uk)
and Round Table Children's Wish (www.rtcw.org).
Lucy Hammersley from Whizz Kidz recently attended an area meeting in Norwich
attended by over 100 Tablers where she described the work the charity undertook in getting
disabled children mobile by providing them with customised mobility equipment. She
informed the meeting that unfortunately there is an 18-month waiting list for their
services. Round Table Children's Wish was formed to make wishes come true for
children with life threatening illnesses and have provided such help for two children in
this area this year. |
If you wish to donate your unwanted mobile phone, envelopes can be
obtained from any Round Table. Contacts for each locel Round Table along with
updates on the scheme can be obtained on www.roundtablearea6.org.uk and also at Icarus
Hines Butchers in Cromer, Groveland Fruit Farm Roughton, Whistlestop and SheringhamPlus
both in Sheringham.
