
SHERINGHAM & CROMER ROUND TABLE
Sheringham & Cromer Round Table met at the Lobster Public House for
there Annual General Meeting. Gary Fowkes reflecting on his year as chairman praised
members for there work in putting on another successful Senior Citizen's Party and helping
out Sheringham in Bloom. He commented on an eventful year which had seen members
visit Maassluis in Holland for the annual Euro Weekend, go walking in the Highlands of
Scotland and visiting Louth as part of a couple's weekend. Jim Howells was
complimented on an interesting and varied programme which included fencing, jet skiing,
rowing on Hickling Broad and receiving a very relaxing back massage from Ladies Circle
chairman Sara Woodrow. Gary finished off by saying he was really pleased that
membership had grown with some strong new members and plans to concentrate his efforts in
the coming year in organising the Human Table Football at this years Cromer Carnival.

Taking over as Chairman Andrew Johnson was interrupted by Ladies Circle who tested him on
another of his hobbies the goasts of the area. After passing this test in his inaugural
speech he stated he hoped that the members would continue to enjoy fun and friendship in
the coming 12 months. Plans were also made for the forthcoming Euro Weekend in
Augsburg at the end of May which will see 6 members and there partners visiting Germany.
Sheringham & Cromer Round Table meets the 1st & 3rd Thursdays of every
month and undertake a variety of activities which amongst others include sport, visits and
