Well over 3,000 people visited St. Andrew's Methodist Church, Sheringham,
during four days at the beginning of July. The reason for their visit was the annual
Flower Festival. They came from far and wide, several coach parties (one making a 4
hour journey each way) as well as families and individuals who book their holidays to be
in the area for the Festival. This year's theme was 'What a Wonderful World' and
this was depicted in 27 large floral arrangements including: 'The Four Seasons', 'The
Impact of Colour', 'All things Bright and Beautiful', 'World Wide Web', 'In the
Beginning', and some of the Wonders of the World such as the Great Barrier Reef, the
Northern Lights and the Pyramids of Giza.
The date for your diary for next year is 5th - 8th July 2007
Are you interested in working with children in a school or playgroup?
Would you like to brush up your English skills, gain a Level 2 qualification in
English and learn more about working in childcare? If a crime has been committed...perhaps you would like to decide on the fate of the offender.... LC:CS offers you the chance to do just that! A magistrate and a Probation Officer are coming to Sheringham to deliver an interactive presentation about community sentencing.
