READERS LETTER
Dear Editor,
I am an avid fan of shopping online and I do my grocery shopping via Tesco Online service,
(I love the way that they deliver to my door and I help the environment at the same time!
They are doing multiple deliveries, so it cuts down on traffic). It was my
young granddaughters' birthday a few weeks ago and I was looking through the book section
available at Tescos in the hopes that I could find something to give her as a present.
I noticed something very interesting whilst doing so, a book by the name of Lucker
and Tiffany Peel Out - author Eroica Mildmay. Is this is the same Eroica Mildmay
that currently chairs SCAMROD, who are so vocally opposed to Tesco coming to town? I
would love to know.

READERS LETTER
Dear Editor
After watching the news on TV (14th Sept) about the redundancies at Norwich Union and the
jobs are now going overseas is the company going to be re-named Indian Union? I will
be taking my custom elsewhere and do my best to support this country.
NORTH NORFOLK CAMERA CLUB
Following the club's very successful Summer Exhibition at the Stable
Gallery, Kelling, the new season kicks off on Wednesday September 13th with a review of
the exhibition and a general forum evening where various photographic acronyms will be
translated into layman's terms. We hope to learn how the club benefits from
belonging to the EAF (East Anglian Federation of Photographic Societies) which in turn
affiliates the club to PAGB (Photographic Alliance of Great Britain).
The first inter-club competition of the club year will be held on September 27th when NNCC
is in a three-way battle with Norwich and Dereham. The term 'battle' belies the fact
that this will be a very friendly evening although secretly the club would very much like
to take the honours.
The subject for the club's summer cup project is The Seashore and these pictures will be
judged on Wednesday October 11th. Four prints from each member can be presented which
ought to produce a tremendously varied display with, presumably, plenty of local interest.
Also coming up before Christmas there will be a practical 'hands-on' evening, a slide show
of some of the Best Prints of a CAPG Exhibition and one of our regular judges will be
using his own images to demonstrate what a judge is looking for when choosing the best
pictures.
Visitors are welcome to all meetings held on Wednesdays fortnightly at Holt
Community Centre Lounge Room, 7 for 7.30pm start, £2. For further information ring
