A NEW LOOK FOR FUNSTOP

After taking over Funstop in Cromer 18 months ago we think we now have what you want for any child from toddler to OAP! Funstop now boasts a larger party area with ever changing soft play.  We have a hall that can be used for discos or private functions and our fantastic lazer games for parties.  They are great value starting at £4.50 per child for 2 hours.  Come along during school hours, 9 - 3 for just £2.50 per child.   Wednesday's, 4 - 8 will be open for laser games, get a group of friends together and come and play.  Just phone to say you'd like to come along.  Book a weekday party and you get Funstop to yourselves

funstop.jpg (497618 bytes)Laser Parties - what are they? - Funstop turn's into an alien spacecraft belonging to a pair of green extra terrestrials called Patrick and his wife Elaine heading for the planet Potsnuf, come if you dare and put a stop to Patrick and Elaine's invasion.   How do you play? - Walk through Patrick and Elaine's UFO hunting out your enemies, they could be hiding in the vent tubes for have they slipped down to the lower level of the craft or have they escaped to the outer parts and are now hiding on the planet Potsnuf.  Use the laser guns to score points but be on your guard as they can score points.  How long? - Each invasion lasts 5 to 10 minutes, long enough to flush out the enemy with ten games each.

Special offer each Friday morning, up to Christmas - the first 10 children free of charge and £1.50 for each child up to midday.
We are also running a nearly new shop, bring any children's toys or clothes in and we will sell them for you.

Coming soon, a day time baby sitting service by OFSTED registered NVQ qualified childminder, so you can shop in Cromer without your children over the Christmas period.

THE ROYAL AIR FORCES ASSOCIATION

On Tuesday, 31st October the Branch held A Halloween Burgundy & Buffet Luncheon at Wolterton Hall by kind permission of Lord and Lady Walpole.  Members were invited to bring along potential new members to try to raise the Branch membership to at least 250.

Some 70 members and friends attended and enjoyed the excellent wine served on arrival in a lovely room on the first floor with a spectacular view over the garden and the lake.   All those present were amazed to see the wonderful buffet set out before them and the wide choice of dishes.  Coffee was served and Derek Shrigley, the Branch Chairman, welcomed those present and hoped that they would be as generous as possible in supporting the raffle as he was anxious that the Branch should reach its £11,000 target before December.  The profit from the event and the raffle raised some £500 towards the target.  A number of the friends present said that they were interested in joining the Branch and took a membership application form.  Any member of the Royal Air Force or a former member, male or female or members of their families should contact Sir Colin Turner, the President & PRO of the Branch on: 01263 837 229 for full details.
