HELP STUFF 'SANTA'S SUITCASE'

Travelcare is looking for hundreds of Santa's helpers in Cromer and beyond to spread joy to local children this Christmas.  For the second year running, the team at the Cromer branch of Travelcare are appealing for Christmas gifts or toys to help fill Santa's Suitcase.  All donations will be presented just in time for Christmas to BREAK charity for the children that will be spending Christmas in one of their centres.

We are hoping that the donations from customers, the general public and other local businesses will help to fill the suitcase.

break70.jpg (765673 bytes)Branch Manager, Jo Dobbie says, "Christmas is a time for celebration and spreading joy.  We hope customers and members of the local community will help us bring a smile to a deserving local child this festive season.  "Following our success with Santa's Suitcase last year we hope we can achieve the same fantastic results this Christmas.  All we ask is that you leave the gifts unwrapped so that they can be checked for suitability for either a boy or a girl, or of which age range they should be given."

If you would like to donate please drop any gifts or toys etc... into TRAVELCARE CROMER between the 11th November and the 16th December.

Alan Leedham, Fundraising Manager said "BREAK are delighted to be receiving the support of Travelcare for a second year through their 'Santa's Suitcase' appeal.  The donated toys will be wrapped and given to our guests and other service users by our very own Santa!  He will be visiting Rainbow in Sheringham, to give the children with disabilities their gifts while they are enjoying a wonderful festive holiday with us.   Then Santa will take the donated presents to our young people and teenagers who live in our children's homes.  Creative toys, games, jigsaws, and books always provide a source of stimulation and fun for the children over the Christmas period.   When you make a donation to Travelcares 'Santa's Suitcase' appeal this year we can guarantee that you'll be putting a smile on children's faces and hours of fun this Christmas!"
