DEPARTMENT FOR WORK
& PENSIONS |
Local people will be pleased to know that The Pension Service in Kings Lynn will be
running a series of surgeries in the local community, through the local service. The
surgeries, which are open to anyone aged over 60 will give people the opportunity to get
benefit advice, find out about complimentary services and pension entitlements.
A surgery will be held on 5th March at Sheringham and District Age Concern between 9.30am
and 12.30pm. You can either drop-in or arrange an appointment. Appointments can be booked
by ringing 0845 6060265.
Surgeries will continue to be held on the first Wednesday of each month. We are extremely
grateful to Chris Lemon and Margaret Pomfrett for allowing us to use the premises to give
people advice and information. We intend to set up further surgeries in other parts of the
area and I would like to encourage any organisation who would like to form a partnership
with The Pension Service to ring me (Graham Anderson-Fortnam) on Tel: 01553 695836.
